Education and Training in Aeronautical Meteorology

  • AMO offers professional training in aviation meteorology in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Recommendations and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Technical Regulations. We provide basic education and on-the-job training for new employees, and professional training for incumbent employees to help all the employees improve their own qualifications and professional expertise on aeronautical meteorology.

Public Aviation Meteorology Education

  • AMO offers aviation meteorological information training for users, such as air traffic control authorities, commercial aircraft carriers, and people involved in flight operations at national institutions, to help improve their understanding and use of aviation weather information
